We’re delighted to share the winning designs of our recent litter poster competition. We had a fantastic result, with 31 entries full of creativity and great ideas to help keep our area clean and green!
Choosing the winners was no easy task, but after careful judging by Cllr Mike Bonfield (Mayor 2025/26), Cllr Cliff Sutton (Chairman of Environment and Green Spaces Committee) and Gail Percival (Assets and Compliance Manager), we’re excited to announce our winners, who are all from two local schools: Skye, Pheobe, Benji and Lincoln.
Cllr Bonfield presented them all with a certificate and a small prize during their end of half-term school assemblies.
A big thank you to everyone who took part – the standard was incredibly high!
These four designs will now be made into signs to be displayed across our town and raise awareness that littering is not acceptable.
Well done to everyone involved for helping spread such an important message about looking after our environment!
