Swanage Town Council invites all residents to attend this year’s Annual Parish Meeting, taking place on Monday 20 April 2026 at 7.00 p.m. at The Focus Centre, Chapel Lane, Swanage.
The Annual Parish Meeting, sometimes known as the Parish Assembly, is an important opportunity for the community to come together, hear updates from local representatives, and raise issues of interest relating to life in Swanage. The meeting is an open forum, and all residents are warmly encouraged to take part.

Representatives from a range of community groups have been invited to give short updates on their work and current initiatives.

Meet your councillors
Both Swanage Town Councillors and Dorset Councillors will be present to answer questions and listen to concerns.

Community Awards 2025/26
The evening will also include the presentation of the Swanage Town Council Community Awards, recognising outstanding contributions made by individuals and groups who make a real difference to the town.

Light refreshments
Attendees are invited to stay for refreshments and informal discussion after the main agenda.
Submitting Agenda Items or Motions
Residents may submit formal motions or agenda items for consideration at the meeting. These must be submitted in writing by noon on Wednesday 8 April 2026.
