At the Annual Council Meeting held on Monday evening, Cllr Chris Tomes was elected Mayor of Swanage for the 2026/27 civic year, with his wife, Cam, supporting him in the role as Mayoress during his term of office.
Cllr Sarah Vile was elected Deputy Mayor of Swanage for the 2026/27 civic year, and her husband, John, will be supporting her as consort.
Sincere thanks was paid to outgoing Mayor, Cllr Mike Bonfield, for his dedication and leadership of the town over the past year, and on four occasions before that!
