Town Hall

In response to Covid-19 and the three measures introduced by the UK Government on 23rd March 2020, please be advised that from 3.00 p.m. on Tuesday 24th March 2020 the Town Council made the decision to close down the Town Hall’s reception desk and its telephone lines.

This decision has been made to protect the Council’s resources and to ensure that we can continue to deliver our core services.

‚ÄčThis is an unprecedented, continually changing situation and we are all working to keep Swanage residents safe. The Town Council would like to thank you for your understanding and patience at this time.

Swanage Town Council and Dorset Police have joined forces to provide a joint facility in the Town Hall Annexe. This is known as Swanage PaTHway. The reception staff are very knowledgeable and can provide guidance in respect of all Town Council services, including cemeteries and allotments. Forms can be collected for concessionary bus passes, and residents’ car parking permits can be issued to those who supply their Council Tax Bills and V5 Registration Documents.
