Filming Requests
Would you like to film in Swanage?
Swanage Town Council owns a number of sites across the town and actively encourages the use of these sites for filming activities, as it appreciates the appearance of Swanage in media, and serves as a valuable way to promote the town.
However, the Council requires all requests for filming to be approved, and a charge is made to cover administration costs, and any possible impact on the town. In most cases the charge is a relatively small amount. All applicants are therefore required to complete a short application form.
