Following a toll review application to the Department by the Bournemouth-Swanage Motor Road Ferry Company to revise toll charges on the ferry, the Secretary of State has decided that a local Public Inquiry can be held.

An independent Inspector has been appointed to hold the public inquiry.

This will be held at 10am on Tuesday 25 September and Wednesday 26 September 2018 at;

  • Studland Village Hall
  • Heathgreen Road
  • Studland
  • Dorset
  • BH19 3BX


Written Evidence

Any objection letters will be automatically forwarded to the Inspector where this has already been sent to this Department. However, any additional documents/and or evidence that you wish to be considered by the Inspector must be sent to the Inspector via myself at the above address at the Department for Transport by Tuesday 21st August 2018, to allow him sufficient time to consider it before the Inquiry. I will then forward any additional evidence submitted by you onto the Inspector. If you wish to send evidence by email please send it to
