How can I make a booking?

What are the prices?

Swanage Carnival Week and May Half Term

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions (see below) there are currently no vacancies for Carnival Week which starts on Saturday 31st July 2021. Our electronic diary is up to date should you wish to identify an alternative week.

We also currently no longer have any remaining Lower Level huts for May Half term starting on 29th May 2021.

How much do I have to pay when I make the booking?

To confirm your booking you will be required to pay the full amount of the booking cost at the time of booking. This must be by card over the phone or through our online booking system. We can accept cash of amounts less than £250.

Do I need to register online before the booking opens?

You may register on our booking system now, if you haven’t already. If you register before the bookings open this will save you time when you come to make your booking. If you haven’t registered before you make you booking, it will take you a few minutes to enter your name and address. You can register now at:  Booking your Beach Hut

I do not have access to a computer?

If you do not have access to a computer we recommend that you speak to a family member or friend who may be able to do an online booking for you. You can still make bookings over the phone.

If I don’t get the beach hut I want can you add me to a waiting list in case someone cancels their booking?

Unfortunately, we will not be maintaining a waiting list. We suggest that you keep an eye on our online diary to see if any beach huts become available. It is very rare that beach huts are cancelled for our busiest times.

I would like to book a period of less than a week?

For 2021, bookings of less than 7 days will only be available ‘on the day’ as from 12th April 2021, subject to availability.

I would like to change or amend the beach hut that I have already booked?

Any change to a beach hut booking will incur an administration charge of £20 or 15% of the total booking fee, whichever is the greater, unless this is related to Covid, in which case see below.

I would like to cancel my beach hut?

If you wish to cancel your beach hut you may do so at any time. However as per our terms and conditions for bookings we will retain the 15% or £20, whichever is greater. If you cancel within 30 days of the booking start date no refund is possible.

How have we responded to Covid-19?

We are currently only offering ‘every other’ beach hut to customers on Shore Road and the Spa Retreats, to allow adequate social distancing. We have also added a number of signs in the area and implemented a one-way route along the upper level row of huts.

All beach huts are cleaned and disinfected between bookings.

When there is a government relaxation of the social distancing requirement, we will begin to release additional huts.

What if I need to cancel due to a resurgence in Covid-19 or because I must self-isolate?

Our current policy allows customers to request a refund or an amendment to any current booking, up until 25th March 2022 without incurring any administration charges, if Covid-19 related.

I would like a Spa or Spa Retreat Hut?

We will be keeping the Spa huts and Spa Retreats huts open until 29th October 2021.
